I grabbed this vintage HC-8 for the novelty, but it actually works okay for tiny jobs. The 1-cup capacity means you can only do very small amounts—perfect for a single garlic clove or a handful of nuts. The 30W motor is weak, so don't try anything tough. I like the included wall mount for storage, and the click-lock lid feels secure. Parts are dishwasher safe. However, it's old and the coil cord is short. For $25, it's a fun retro piece, but modern mini choppers offer more power and capacity.
